Life Skills/Mentoring Program

Overview

Each student that participates in College Prep World’s Student Development program will be assigned a life skills coodinator that supports the participants’ growth and development. The coordinator and student communicate regularly to ensure their classes meet the academic criteria needed to graduate. This ensures that each student is on the right track to successfully achieve their goals. The life skills coodinator also make themselves available to students for any other problems they might encounter. The role of each coordinator may vary depending on the academic and athletic status of each student and/or student athlete. For instance some coodinators may decide to attend practice, social, academic, and other team events.
