The Student Developmental Services that Mr. Vick has provided my family is well beyond what anyone else in the community has provided. Mr. Vick has worked with my son for three years. Over that period of time he has mentored him, provided him with the tools he needs to be successful, and showed him how to be self sufficient. Mr. Vick is even been there for me, when I need direction and guidance on issues that I don’t know how to handle. As a result, my son’s attitude and outlook toward life has changed drastically. "My son began his relationship with the great people at College Prep World (CPW) during his Freshman year in high school. We are currently utilizing all facets of the CPW program to include the Academic monitoring, the mentoring program, and the strength and conditioning training. My son continues to develop in all areas and he will begin his Sophomore football season in a few short weeks. As a result of his experiences with CPW, my son is now focused more than ever on his academic consistency, his speed and strength training and his ultimate goal. District Entertainment proudly supports College Prep World and its Student Development Program. We have had the opportunity to attend numerous symposiums and have witnessed first-hand the positive impact the events have had on students and their parents. The content of the program gives students an insight on what to expect when they get to college and everything they need to do to prepare. The symposiums also allow parents and guardians to understand their role in helping their child prepare and get into college – from knowing what grades are acceptable to financial aid options. In addition, each symposium has featured successful individuals as guest speakers in which the attendees can use as resources during the process.

We have chosen to partner with College Prep World for their mission to assist students and their families through the college selection process. Each team member of College Prep World is committed and passionate about what they do, and not only helps with the process, but stays involved throughout the student’s college years. If you are a student or have a child thinking about going to college, the Student Development Program and symposiums are a must!
